I called up in the middle of the night uncertain whether this service was the right point of contact for my needs, and was given an appointment time for when it was next convenient for me to come in. I arrived early and was seen immediately - no waiting! I had instant tests performed and was given a prescription and advised of the nearest place to pick this up. The only shame is that there was nowhere for this service within the hospital - but that is fully understandable as the space is required for other services.

Rang the CHOC service and a Dr rang back within 10 minutes Had an appointment within 20 minutes and was seen immediately ( an acute asthma attack) I received prompt treatment to alleviate my symptoms. The Dr I saw was efficient and respectful and explained the procedure as he went along. I was extremely pleased with the level of care I received today. The Drs name was Dr Sunday Odumade.

They need to get better service , have better look at Their patients not just a quick look over take time to talk about there condition in more detail and they need to have better timeing on the service...

My name is Mr McMurdo and l was seen by a doctor on Thursday evening. This gentleman who looked after me at my visit was supurb with an outstanding knowledge of my many and various conditions.His bedside manner and kindness, and of course a magnificent sense of humour made me feel better before l was given any meds. Thank you, and thank you again.

After hearing our two year old cry for an hr with pain in his ear and was inconsolable we were given an appointment and seen within 25mins from initial phone call to CHOC.. The nurse that seen us was caring, friendly and efficient and was lovely with our son, although nothing seemed to be wrong she didn't make us feel silly and had time to explain things to us.Excellent service, couldn't be without it out of hours. Thank you

My experience at CHOC on 11/10/2015 was fabulous,we were informed they were running late fair enough,then seen by a nurse which she then wanted us to see a doctor which we then did ,this dr alex Docton was brilliant from start to finish,he explained everything ,he got second oponion and then took us to where we needed to be,also he made us feel at ease the whole time,well done to all concerned from the phone call at the start and to all who were involved to the end .

Great care from staff at CHOC alot better than my local GP. actually felt like i got somewhere with the CHOC doctors!!

I was seen very quickly provided i didnt ring to make an appointment first, which i know you normally have to do, my wife was concerned and drove me straight to CHOC the staff on duty that night couldnt have been more helpful, the receptionist was very pleasant as was the male Dr that attended to me. The Dr didnt just give a quick examintaion as some Dr's do, he was very thorough and maintained eye contact with myself and my wife and chatted to both of us and didnt just focus on the patient. I would recommend this service as the care i recieved was excellent
